Mr. Adam Feldman is Vice President of Project Finance for Borrego Solar, working out of the company’s regional headquarters in Oakland, California. Adam’s focus is on ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget to investors and financiers. In addition to structuring conventional project financing for multi-megawatt-scale projects and portfolios, Adam works directly with the project development team on marketing developed solar projects to financial institutions interested in owning PV assets. He negotiates letters of intent, as well as EPC, asset transfer and PPA contracts. In this position, Adam takes on the remaining development work necessary for the successful sale of a project to a finance entity and then hands the project off to the operations team to commence construction. Adam has been in the solar industry since 2011 and in his first five years of working in solar he oversaw the successful construction and delivery of over 40MW of utility and commercial-scale PV technologies. Adam’s bylines ‘Solar ITC Extension and Tax Exempt Entities’ and ‘What Mortgage Underwriter Are Missing about PACE’ have been published in Triple Pundit magazine. He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of California Los Angeles and his MBA in Sustainability from San Francisco’s Presidio Graduate School.
