Sebastian Brundage is a Project Manager with Borrego Solar based out of the company’s headquarters in San Diego, California. As a Project Manager, Sebastian works primarily on megawatt-scale rooftop and ground-mounted solar energy solutions for local government entities and commercial energy users in California. His primary role is to manage the construction stage of a project from PV design through to completion of the installation when it receives permission to operate from the local utility. This includes, but is not limited to: construction scheduling, budget management, permit processing, and the selection and oversight of subcontractors and vendors. Prior to joining the Borrego Solar team in 2015, Sebastian worked in the PV utility sector and on various solar off grid development projects in Mexico, Nicaragua and the Marshall Islands. He has been in the solar industry since 2009. He was featured in a National Wildlife Federation case study on the development and implementation of PV technologies at a sustainable development education and research facility in North Carolina. Sebastian earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Studies and Environmental Science from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, and his Masters of Science in Appropriate Technology and Environmental Design from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
